“Venezuela sanctions should be extended”

The EPP Group is calling on the EU to step up its response in Venezuela. It follows a meeting in the European Parliament between EPP MEPs and Juan Guaidó, who is recognised as the legitimate interim President of the South American country. Calls were made for sanctions against the Maduro regime to be extended as part of efforts to restore full democracy.
