Jessica Chastain! Daniel Day-Lewis! Anne Hathaway! Who Will Take Home the Top Honors?

As Hollywood preps for the 85th Annual Academy Awards, everyone wants to know who will be the biggest winners, and who will go home empty-handed. This year, is once again rolling out its red carpet predictions. Based on the analysis of questions asked by more than 100 million users in the months leading up to the big night, the top Q&A site anticipates surprises, snubs and hot red carpet style come Oscar night.

According to Valerie Combs,'s Celebrity and Trend Expert:

• Jessica Chastain to Take the Stage as Best Actress- The Best Actress category features both the youngest and oldest ever nominees this year, but expect an actress in the prime of her career to go home with the statue. According to the web search engine's users, Jessica Chastain will narrowly edge out Jennifer Lawrence.

• Anne Hathaway Joins the Winners Club- People may have found her Golden Globes speech insincere, but Anne Hathaway will get a do-over. Her dramatic weight loss and hair cut for her role as Fantine in "Les Misérables" captured the hearts of America, and the surge in searches leads us to believe she'll take the stage again.

• "Silver Linings Playbook" Goes Home Empty Handed- In what may be the biggest upset of the night, Bradley Cooper and the other stars of the David O. Russell film could leave the Dolby Theatre looking for the silver lining. Based on search volume, the movie is expected to be edged out in every major category in which they compete.

• Seth MacFarlane Takes the Cake as Top Trending Topic- Forget the red carpet's fancy gowns, jewelry, hairstyles and all the night's flashiness. Based on a number of searches about this year's host, Seth MacFarlane, expect the night's top trending topic to be about his edgy humor.

In addition, Valerie also shares the results from a live poll that asked users, "What will be the most popular gown color," "Which male nominee will be most daring with his outfit," and "Who's speech will run the longest and be cut off by the music."
