A New Decade, New Uncertainties for CEOs
Release Date: 22 January 2020
Only 27% of CEOs are ‘very confident; in their prospects for revenue growth in 2020. That’s a low level not seen in a decade. The findings formed part of PwC’s Annual Global CEO Survey, which was unveiled ahead of the opening of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
The report was unveiled by Bob Moritz, Chairman of the PwC Network. At the live presentation Moritz said: “That uncertainty is not only from various risks that are forthcoming each and every day, but it’s the magnitude of the risks; the impact that they have over the ever changing list of risk that CEO’s are dealing with right now.”
This year’s survey also discovered that the CEOs quizzed believe the top threats facing business in 2020 include: over-regulation; trade conflicts; uncertain economic growth, cyber-threat and policy uncertainty.
