As the organizer of Agritechnica 2025, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) will once again offer a platform for innovative startup companies from the agricultural and food sector who will present their ideas and products at the “agrifood startups” area in Hall 21. The guiding theme for the international meeting place for the startup scene is “Shape the future for agriculture”. Numerous startups from nine countries have already registered for “agrifood startups”.

 
Agritechnica 2025 presents a prime platform for innovative agrifood startups to inspire visitors with forward-thinking ideas and shape the future of agriculture. Under the guiding theme “Shape the Future for Agriculture,” these startups will have the opportunity to showcase their visions, forge valuable industry connections and gain international exposure. As the world’s leading showcase for agricultural machinery, Agritechnica offers a professional stage and access to a global network of experts, enabling startups to present their innovations to a highly engaged audience.
 
Great opportunity to showcase innovations

“Agritechnica is an outstanding opportunity for agrifood startups to showcase not only their talent but also their innovative products and solutions,” says Christopher Armstrong, project manager for ‘agrifood startups’ at DLG. “It’s a place where they can connect with some of the brightest minds in the sector, explore market potential and grow their networks and businesses,” emphasizes Armstrong.
 
Megan Madden from the Canadian startup www.combinesetting.com reports on her experiences from the last Agritechnica: “Agritechnica is a world-leading trade fair that you have to be at, whether you want to present your product or company or to network with people from all over the world. It was my first time at Agritechnica as an exhibitor and it was great. The number of visitors was fantastic.”
 
At the last edition of Agritechnica,the list of registered world premieres included many startup innovations.
 
Already numerous registrations
 
International startups that are less than ten years old and have fewer than 50 employees can take part in “agrifood startups”. To date, numerous innovative startups from nine countries – France, Germany, Greece, Japan, Italy, Israel, Netherlands, Portugal, USA – have already registered. Entrepreneurial companies from the areas of software, precision farming, IoT, robotics, AI, agricultural electronics, vehicle technology and electronics, agricultural technology, crop protection and special crops sectors will be presenting their ideas and solutions at Agritechnica 2025.
 
The spectrum of registered startups is diverse and ranges from newly founded companies to more established companies looking for international expansion and growth opportunities, from seed-funded emerging startups to startups that have completed large funding rounds.

The location of “agrifood startups” is Hall 21, next to the special exhibition area “Digital Farm Center”, which showcases technologies from the fields of digital farming, automation, robotics and artificial intelligence. Participating startups can book a stand in the DLG's international joint stand.
