Andrea Reggiani named Lamborghini Squadra Corse Head of Motorsport

Highly experienced Italian-Swiss engineer will report directly to CTO Rouven Mohr

Sant’Agata Bolognese/Sebring, 20 March 2026 – Lamborghini today announces that Andrea Reggiani will assume the role of Head of Motorsport, overseeing all areas of the racing division of the Sant’Agata Bolognese firm at international level. The experienced Italian-Swiss engineer will report directly to Rouven Mohr, Chief Technical Officer of Automobili Lamborghini.

Over the course of his career, Reggiani has held senior positions with some of the sport’s leading brands and, couple with his years of experience and extensive industry knowledge, has contributed to the commercial and strategic success of the various companies with whom he has previous collaborated.

In his new role, Reggiani will be responsible for the development of Lamborghini’s motorsport models and the commercial management of racing activities, including the global Lamborghini Super Trofeo platform across Europe, Asia and North America and the GT3 customer racing programme.

At the same time, Automobili Lamborghini is pleased to announce stability across the continental single-make Super Trofeo championships. Erik Skirmants (North America), Federica Teneggi (Europe) and Francesco Scardoni (Asia-Pacific) will each continue in their roles as motorsport activity coordinators in their respective regions.

With the arrival of Andrea Reggiani and the confirmation of the coordinators of the continental championships, Lamborghini further strengthens its dedicated competition structure, continuing its commitment to the technological and sporting development of its racing programmes globally. In addition to managing the motorsport activities of Lamborghini Squadra Corse, Reggiani – unrelated to the former Lamborghini Chief Technical Officer, Maurizio Reggiani – will also look after Lamborghini’s trackday-only Essenza SCV12 programme.

Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, added: “I would like to wish Andrea Reggiani every success in his new role. I am confident that his commitment will bring added value to Lamborghini's motorsports activities, which for our brand remains an important laboratory for the development of new technologies. Andrea’s arrival in our family coincides with the debut of the Temerario GT3, and the initial development phases of the Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo which, from next year, will form the basis of three single-make championships in Europe, Asia, and North America. I would like to extend a warm welcome to Andrea."

Rouven Mohr, Lamborghini Chief Technical Officer, said: “We are delighted to welcome Andrea Reggiani to the Lamborghini family heading into the new season, one which marks the start of a new chapter for the brand with the introduction of the new Temerario GT3 on the world stage, starting with the Sebring 12 Hours this weekend. His significant motorsport expertise and know-how was something that appealed strongly to Squadra Corse and aligns perfectly with the brand’s long-term strategic plans. I am sure he will lead Lamborghini to even more successes in the coming years, most notably in some of the most prestigious GT3 championships but also in our highly successful one-make Super Trofeo platform.”

Andrea Reggiani, Lamborghini Head of Motorsport: “It is a true honor to join Lamborghini as head of Motorsport. I am deeply grateful for the trust placed in me and proud to join a company with such extraordinary heritage and that represents passion, performance and bold innovation at the highest level. Together with the talented people who make Lamborghini unique, I look forward to building on this strong foundation and help writing the next chapter in our racing history striving for new milestones that will excite our clients, our partners and our fans around the world.”
