New appointments to support the future strategy of the Sant’Agata Bolognese company
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 9th October 2025 – Automobili Lamborghini announces an update to its management structure with new appointments within the Management Board, which is being expanded with an additional role to respond more effectively to global challenges and to accompany the company into the next phase of its strategic evolution. The expansion and reorganisation of the management team reflect the commitment of the Sant’Agata Bolognese company to consolidating its growth path, supporting the hybrid model range and preparing for future technological and industrial developments.
Matteo Ortenzi, previously Product Line Director for Revuelto, assumes the position of General Secretary & Chief Strategy Officer. Having joined Automobili Lamborghini in 2004, he has gained extensive experience across several areas of the company, previously holding the roles of Head of Controlling and Chief Project Management Officer. From 2018 to 2020, he also served as CEO of Asia-Pacific (APAC) Region. In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Corporate and Product Strategy and coordinating innovation trends.
Stefano Rutigliano, currently Strategy Director, takes responsibility for the new project dedicated to Alternative Fuels, while also pursuing an international executive education programme. He joined Automobili Lamborghini in 2014 and was appointed Director of Strategy in 2020, accompanying the company through some of its most significant phases of growth and transformation.
Alessandro Farmeschi assumes the position of Product Line Director for Revuelto, succeeding Matteo Ortenzi. Having joined Automobili Lamborghini in 2006, he served as CEO of Automobili Lamborghini America until 2021, before returning to Sant’Agata Bolognese to lead the After Sales Department, with responsibility also for the Polo Storico, the division dedicated to preserving and promoting the brand’s heritage.
All positions will report directly to Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann.
