The 11th Chengdu International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts and Aftermarket Services (CAPAS Chengdu) opens from 22 to 24 May 2025 at the Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition and Convention Center. With a record 52,000 sqm of exhibition space, the show will house 773 exhibitors showcasing innovations across the supply chain, focusing on new energy and connectivity. Additionally, 23 concurrent events will cover talent development, supply chain, international collaboration, and the region’s automotive culture. With visitors from over 40 overseas countries and regions expected, 26 local provinces and 50 buyer groups, CAPAS supports business exchange, trade investment and the incorporation of industry and education in the automotive sector, aligning with growth in the Chengdu-Chongqing Dual-city Economic Rim.

Leading brands unlock business opportunities
CAPAS 2025 is set to welcome a record number of brands that feature innovations across the entire supply chain. In terms of parts and components, Honeywell from the US will showcase advanced brake pads; Tianneng will debut with new commercial vehicle air-conditioning batteries; and, Tuopu will present thermal management systems, air suspension solutions, and smart driving technologies. Furthermore, brands like Biaobang, Carxpert, Longding Light, MOTJ, MTI ENGINE, Nexus, SDS, SOONMAX, Veslee, Wonder Halla and XKE will participate for the first time, all aiming to tap into the regional automotive market.
In addition, Chongqing, together with 16 municipal pavilions from the Sichuan province, will feature leading brands like Chuannan Shock Absorber, CRRC, Fengchuan Powertrain, Hyundai Truck & Bus, Kaiyi Auto and Sangsin Brake with battery solutions and key components for new energy passenger and commercial vehicles. Meanwhile, pavilions from Anhui, Hunan, Tianjin, as well as Guangzhou and Quanzhou cities will leverage CAPAS to expand into Southwest China. The Hunan pavilion will make its debut with 11 exhibitors highlighting innovative advancements in ceramic materials and technologies for parts and electronic components.
CAPAS will also host a dedicated showcase area at Hall 5 in response to the ever-growing shift towards digital and intelligent mobility solutions. Highlights include
CiDi’s assisted driving technologies for commercial vehicle; as well as TELD presenting innovative charging solutions for electric vehicles. Here, notable brands like BYD, Changan Auto, FAW-Volkswagen, SERES and Sinotruk Chengshang will present products and technologies for new energy vehicle manufacturing.
A hub where ideas converge
During the three-day show, 23 concurrent events are set to feature a diverse range of formats, offering insights and guidance on with Southwest China’s transformation.
For example, integrated at the New Energy Vehicle Industry-Education Integration Zone (Booth 3F01, Hall 3), forums and hands-on training aim to address the talent shortage in the new energy vehicles and connectivity markets. Events include:
- International Automotive Industry Education and Talent Development Conference, (22 May): strategies for workforce training, and talent and skills development
- Elite Development Open Course (22 May): career guidance for vocational students, supporting employment and industry growth
- Transformation of New Energy Vehicle Services and Marketing Empowerment Training (23 May): covering electric vehicle maintenance, digital marketing strategies, and premium vehicle technologies
- New Energy Vehicle Maintenance Practical Training (22 – 24 May): Balance, Bee Zhixiang New Energy and Sichuan Zhongxingwang provide training on Tesla electronic system diagnostics, repair tool selection and chassis repair.
Furthermore, the Chengdu-Chongqing Automotive, Charging and Swapping Matchmaking Conference 2025 (22 May) will unite government agencies, industry associations, manufacturers, public transportation and logistics providers. It aims to explore investment opportunities, product innovations, and electrification strategies in the regions to advance EV adoption in local transport and enhance charging infrastructure.
For the first time, CAPAS collaborates with the China Automobile Dealers Association to launch the Automotive Dealer Service Innovation Conference and Precise Supply-Demand Matchmaking Event 2025 (23 May). The conference will connect OEMs, dealerships, suppliers, and service providers to optimise dealer supply chains. Discussions will centre on sourcing strategies, cost-saving, and dealership operations to address challenges arising from electrification and evolving consumer demands.
Other notable events include the Southwest Automotive Aftermarket Development Conference; China Automotive Industry Supply Chain & New Energy Vehicle International Cooperation Conference; Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (Southwest) Development Conference; Car Customising Festival, and more.
Expanding business networks
CAPAS is set to attract overseas buyers from more than 40 countries and regions, including Brunei, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, the UAE, the US, and Uzbekistan, exploring technologies in new energy vehicle manufacturing, supply chain and aftersales.
In this regard, the show has introduced a series of buyer services to facilitate business interactions. The all-new CAPAS Discovery Tour combines the business trip with leisure, offering in-depth insights into the regional automotive market and experiencing the charm of Chengdu. Other services include the VIP Buyers Club, Supply-Demand Matchmaking Event, and Dealers’ Networking Dinner.
