02 Feb 2022 - The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board (EB) today approved one change of nationality as it met in Beijing two days before the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games.
After receiving the support of the respective International Federation and National Olympic Committees, the EB granted the requested exemption to the three-year waiting period normally required for changes of nationality, and accepted the application by:
- Mr Marco ZENDRON – Figure Skating – from Italy to Spain.
He is now eligible to represent Spain at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.
