AEHRA Chief Design Officer
Filippo Perini brings three decades of interior and exterior automotive design experience to lead AEHRA’s design department.
Born in April, 1965, in north-eastern Italy, Filippo Perini earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a MA in Automotive Design from Politecnico of Milan University. He began his career with Alfa Romeo in 1993 as a graduate, gaining experience in both exterior and interior design. Subsequently, he worked in a freelance capacity across numerous Italian automotive OEMs before joining the Alfa Romeo Centro Sile in 1995. In 2003 he moved to Germany to assume the role of Exterior Designer with Audi. In 2004 Perini returned to Italy to join Lamborghini, helping establish the company’s new Centro Stile design center in Sant ‘Agata Bolognese, of which he was appointed Chief Designer in 2006. There, he led the creation of seminal road and concept cars, such as the Lamborghini , Murciélago LP 640, Aventador, Huracan, Centenario and Urus, before moving to Italdesign as Head of Design in 2015. Prior to joining AEHRA, Perini served for two years as Chief Designer at the Genesis Advanced Design Studio in Europe.
