Five international speaker events covering large-scale farming, international trade deals, emerging markets, agriculture economics – with country spotlights on Australia, China, Kazakhstan and Thailand and more – International Farmers Day for Canada, Czech Republic and France: full day of networking, presentations and exchanges
At Agritechnica 2025, the world’s largest trade fair for agricultural machinery, the technical program will feature major international speaker events and an International Farmers Day addressing practical farming approaches and global technological developments, with regional relevance for Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, China, France, Kazakhstan and Thailand. The events form part of some 300 topical presentations taking place over seven days, from 9 to 15 November 2025, in Hanover, Germany, aimed at sharing insights into current agricultural challenges and solutions.
“The technical program is an important part of the trade fair because it makes expert knowledge immediately accessible. At DLG, we've developed the topics together with our many arable farming working groups, which bring together farmers, researchers, experts, and companies.

“Emerging markets” – 9 November; Studio stage
Kicking off on the first day of the trade fair, Sunday 9 November, from 16:00 to 18:00 in Hall 24, the event on emerging markets will feature China and Thailand as case studies, focusing on access to innovation. The session will be attended by agricultural machinery companies and industry experts. Emerging economies in the Asia-Pacific region hold significant potential as both consumers and producers of agricultural goods. Supported by the regional expertise of specialists from DLG Asia Pacific, the Studio Stage session titled "Emerging Markets" will focus on improving access to these markets for developing countries.
“Large-scale farming” – 10 November; Expert stage: Smart efficiency
On the first Agribusiness Day, taking place on November 10 from 16:00 to 18:00, an international event focused on large-scale farming will be held in Hall 24 on the Expert Stage titled Smart Efficiency. The event will explore modern farm management practices, including the use of big data, and will feature best-practice examples from Australia, Canada and Kazakhstan.
“Regenerative agriculture” – 11 November; Expert stage: Smart efficiency
On the second Agribusiness Day, taking place on November 11 from 16:00 to 18:00 in Hall 24, the international event on “regenerative farming” will focus on soil health. The program will highlight best-practice examples from relevant regions. The event is specifically aimed at farmers and takes place at the Expert stage “Smart Efficiency”.
International Farmers Day – 12 November; various locations within Hall 24
Held all day on 12 November from 9 to 18:00, the International Farmers Day offers farmers, companies and organisations from Canada, the Czech Republic and France the opportunity to discover the latest innovations in agricultural machinery, take part in tailor-made specialist programs and network with experts and colleagues from all over the world. The dedicated events, which include reception and an after-show networking event, are held at various venues in hall 24.
International trade deals – 12 November; Expert stage: Smart efficiency
The international trade agreements such as and their impact on agriculture will be discussed on November 12, from 14:00 to 14:55 in Hall 24. International experts will contribute to the discussion, offering perspectives on the potential effects on global agricultural markets. Farmers, companies and industry representatives will attend.
Agriculture Economics – 12 November; Expert stage: Smart efficiency
Aimed at international farmers, the event “Agriculture Economics“ focuses on benchmarking and production costs. International speakers will offer details and practical examples offering valuable tips to the international farming professionals in attendance.
Underpinned by the trade fair’s guiding theme “Touch Smart Efficiency, the technical program is put together by Agritechnica’s organizer, the DLG (German Agricultural Society), a non-profit organization committed to promoting the exchange of practical agricultural knowledge across borders. All international events are held in Hall 24, where the DLG stand and its presentation stages are located.
A key feature this year is the Digital Farm Centre in Hall 24, which offers farmers a wide range of solutions in robotics and artificial intelligence—presented through exhibits, talks, and interactive sessions with experts. This is complemented by the DLG-Spotlight “soil health”, a topic expected to attract strong international interest from farmers.

The technical program accompanying Agritechnica spans seven days and features hundreds of individual events, including presentations, expert talks, and networking sessions.
