18 December 2025 - The International Olympic Committee (IOC) today announced a new agreement with América Móvil (through its subsidiary AMX Contenido, S.A. de C.V. (“AMCO”)), which becomes a media rights-holder for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, the French Alps 2030 Olympic Winter Games, the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games, and the Youth Olympic Games in the same period, across the following territories: Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Under this agreement, AMX secures the exclusive Pay-TV and Pay-Digital rights within all the designated territories.
IOC President Kirsty Coventry said: “We first started to work with AMX in 2014, and are delighted to extend our cooperation to ensure broad and consistent Olympic coverage throughout the region. AMX is a well-established broadcaster, and we are confident that it will deliver a first-class Olympic experience for fans.”
