05 September 2025 - The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board (EB) will hold a meeting on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 September in Milan, Italy, a few months ahead of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
The IOC EB is scheduled to receive updates on the activities of the Olympic Movement, the IOC commissions and the IOC administration, along with reports from the Organising Committees for upcoming editions of the Olympic Games.
During their time in Milan, the IOC EB members will also meet with the Milano Cortina 2026 Organising Committee and visit two Olympic venues.
The IOC EB press conference will take place on Friday 19 September at 4 p.m. CEST* at the Westin Palace Hotel, Piazza della Repubblica, 20, 20124 Milan, Italy.
*In the event of any changes to the schedule, updates will be posted on X @IOCMEDIA and the IOC WhatsApp channel.
The press conference will be held in a hybrid format. Prior registration is mandatory.

Journalists can attend on site. If you wish to apply for in-person attendance, please do so via this link by 12 p.m. CEST on Friday 12 September.
Questions will be taken from journalists attending in person as well as those joining via Zoom.
Please note that, as part of the registration process, you will be required to provide a press card or a letter from your editor, along with examples of your recent journalistic work, for your registration to be accepted.
The press conference will also be live streamed on IOC Media YouTube. You can choose to connect to either the English or the Italian audio stream.
