Scuola Federale ACI Sport support renewed as Lamborghini launches a new partnership with Formula Medicine
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 2 July 2026 – For the 13th consecutive year, Lamborghini Squadra Corse renews its commitment to the Young Driver Programs, reaffirming its dedication to supporting young talents and fostering their professional development within international motorsport.
A total of 30 drivers have been selected based on a ranking system that took several different criteria into account. Of these, 17 have been included in the Super Trofeo Junior Drivers programme and are currently competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo regional championships.
For the second consecutive season, the youngest driver in the programme is 17-year-old Patrik Fraboni, who competes in the European series. One year older are Italian driver Nicholas Pujatti and Poland's Gustaw Wisniewski, the latter racing in the Asian series alongside New Zealander Liam Sceats and American Titus Sherlock.
Among the drivers competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe are also Frenchman Hugo Giraud, South African Anthony Pretorius, Dane Silas Rytter, Finn Matias Salonen, Italian Alfio Andrea Spina and Poland's Jerzy Spinkiewicz. Meanwhile, the North American championship features Elias De La Torre IV, Jack William Miller, Colin Queen, Mateo Siderman, Thomas Tommi Gore and Keawn Tandon.
Of the 13 GT3 Junior Drivers, nine are competing with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 in the Italian GT Championship. Frenchman Paul Levet and Italy's Simone Riccitelli are contesting the Sprint series, while French driver Enzo Geraci and fellow Italians Guido Luchetti and Luca Segù are undertaking a double campaign in both the Sprint and Endurance championships. Also competing in the Endurance series are American Alexander Bowen, Irishman Alex Denning, Italian Rosario Messina and Finland's Jesse Salmenautio. Germany's Finn Zulauf is competing in both the ADAC GT Masters and the NLS series. South African Jarrod Waberski is racing full-time in the British GT Championship, while Italian Leonardo Moncini and Portugal's Rodrigo De Sousa Testa are contesting the International GT Open.
Italian driver Jacopo Guidetti (winner of the 2024 Shootout) has been reconfirmed among the Young Professional Drivers and will once again be joined by Britain's Georgi Dimitrov and Costa Rican Daniel Formal. All three continue to compete in the GT3 category with the support of Lamborghini Squadra Corse, confirming their role within the brand's motorsport programme.
This year, the Young Driver Programs will once again benefit from the full support of the Scuola Federale ACI Sport, represented by Federal Instructor Rino Mastronardi, as well as Factory Drivers Marco Mapelli, serving as advisor for the Asian and European series, and Andrea Caldarelli, who is responsible for the North American championship.
A new feature for 2026 is the partnership with Formula Medicine, a leading organisation in the field of physical and mental preparation operating within motorsport and other sporting disciplines. As part of this collaboration, a dedicated training camp will take place on 8, 9 and 10 September.
Finally, the dates for the 2026 Shootout have been confirmed, with the event scheduled to take place at Vallelunga on 4 and 5 November.
