Lamborghini's new hybrid super sports car offers 920 CV of pure excitement

Barcelona, 1 April 2025 – Lamborghini Barcelona has unveiled for the first time in Spain the much-anticipated Lamborghini Temerario[1], the HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) super sports car that completes the hybridization of the Sant’Agata Bolognese company’s range.

The exclusive presentation event took place at the iconic sheds at the Port of Barcelona, a historic 20th-century landmark restored for the 2024 America’s Cup. In an atmosphere that blended elegance, tradition, and cutting-edge innovation, over 160 guests, including clients and brand enthusiasts, had the opportunity to be among the first to discover the new Lamborghini Temerario in the country.

The Temerario arrives as the successor to the iconic Lamborghini Huracán, a model that set the benchmark in its segment. In line with the revolution that began with the Lamborghini Revuelto[2], the Temerario is part of the new HPEV range super sports cars. These vehicles combine the power of combustion engines with electric energy, achieving outstanding performance figures while delivering an unparalleled driving thrill, all while reducing emissions.

At the core of the Lamborghini Temerario lies a powerful twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 engine, producing 800 horsepower. Engineered and developed entirely in Sant’Agata Bolognese, this engine marks a milestone as the first and only production engine in a super sports car to reach 10,000 rpm. Combined with three electric motors, the total output reaches 920 horsepower. The performance results are exceptional: the Temerario boasts a top speed of over 340 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds.

The design of the Temerario has been meticulously crafted to combine Lamborghini’s pure and minimalist aesthetic with a unique personality. With short overhangs, refined aerodynamics, and an aggressive front end inspired by a shark, the Temerario maintains the essence of the brand while boasting a distinct character that makes it unmistakable.

Regarding aerodynamics, the Temerario has achieved a new level of efficiency, surpassing three key objectives: greater stability at high speeds, optimization of the cooling system, and maximization of braking efficiency. The rear aerodynamic load has increased by 103% compared to the Huracán EVO, and if the model includes the Alleggerita Pack, this increase rises to an impressive 158%.

The Lamborghini Temerario has arrived to write a new chapter in the brand’s history, combining the best of engineering, design, and innovation into a super sports car that not only impresses with its performance but also with its uniqueness and distinctive character.
