The display brings together the largest-ever gathering of the iconic supercar
Pebble Beach, CA, 27 July 2026 – Some automobiles become icons. Others redefine history. The Lamborghini Miura did both. This August, against the incomparable backdrop of Pebble Beach Automotive Week, Automobili Lamborghini will honor the 60th anniversary of the Miura with a celebration unlike any before it: the largest gathering of Lamborghini Miuras ever assembled anywhere in the world.
This once-in-a-lifetime display of over 40 Miuras will transform Pebble Beach's famed 3rd fairway into a living tribute to the car that forever changed the automotive world.
On Sunday, August 16, this record number of Miura will come together on the 3rd fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links, a location that, for the first time in the history of Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, will be opened for a featured activation. The display will be open to the public, offering collectors, enthusiasts, and visitors an extraordinary opportunity to experience one of the rarest moments in automotive history. This unprecedented gathering is made possible through the dedication of Lamborghini Club USA and the passion of its members.
There could be no more fitting stage than Pebble Beach. For decades, the Concours d'Elegance has been the world's most prestigious celebration of the automobile, where artistry, craftsmanship, provenance, and innovation converge. It is here, among the world's most exceptional motorcars, that the Miura's story feels very much at home.
"Few automobiles have changed the course of history the way the Miura did," said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini. "It wasn't simply a beautiful car or an engineering milestone - it changed how the world imagined performance, design, and desire. Bringing together the largest collection of Miuras ever assembled, on one of the most celebrated stages in the automotive world, is an extraordinary tribute to the visionaries who created it and to the owners whose passion has preserved its legacy for nearly six decades. As we approach this remarkable event, we celebrate not only an icon of Lamborghini, but one of the most influential automobiles ever built."
When Lamborghini unveiled the Miura in 1966, it challenged every convention of what a road car could be. Its groundbreaking mid-engine architecture, dramatic proportions, and unmistakable Marcello Gandini design transformed automotive engineering into rolling sculpture. More than simply introducing breathtaking performance, the Miura created an entirely new category of automobile - the modern supercar.
Nearly six decades later, its influence remains unmistakable. Every mid-engine Lamborghini that followed, and virtually every modern exotic performance car, owes something to the bold vision first realized in the Miura. It is a car that continues to captivate designers, collectors, artists, and enthusiasts alike, transcending the automotive world to become a lasting symbol of Italian creativity and cultural ambition.
The celebration carries particular significance in the Americas, with the United States being the top market for the brand globally. The United States is also home to the world's largest community of Miura collectors, whose passion for preserving these extraordinary automobiles has helped ensure that the model's legacy continues to inspire new generations.
For one day only, Pebble Beach's iconic fairways will become home to an unmatched gathering of automotive masterpieces - a rare moment where history, design, and innovation converge. More than a display of exceptional automobiles, this is a celebration of the Miura's enduring place in popular culture and of the fearless spirit that continues to define Lamborghini.
As the brand looks toward the future, it also honors the car that forever altered it. Nearly 60 years after its debut, the Miura remains as revolutionary, desirable, and inspiring as ever.
