Member states must play ball with the EU Commission’s new Migration Pact or face mandatory measures. That is the view of EPP Group Spokesman on the new Asylum and Migration Fund, Jeroen Lenaers MEP.
He said the plan has some “good ideas” but warned that “voluntary relocation and voluntary solidarity” is the best way to make sure it works in practice.
