MEPs call for in−depth FIFA reform

The European Parliament's Sports Intergroup invited five candidates to be FIFA's next president to a debate on the reform of FIFA. The debate was cancelled after most of the candidates withdrew and a small scale press conference with one of the candidates was held instead. Ivo Belet and Santiago Fisas, MEPs from the EPP Group, called for a new look FIFA without the corruption that has been dogging it in recent times
