Mirko Bortolotti (Bonaldi Motorsport) takes last 2014 pole in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe in Sepang

Sant'Agata Bolognese/Sepang, 20 November 2014. Mirko Bortolotti proved the fastest in Sepang qualify. The Italian driver racing in pair with David Parel set yet another pole on the Malaysian track hosting today and tomorrow the sixth and last round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe, prologue of the World Final.

The Bonaldi Motorsport duo (PRO-AM Class) set 2'09"500 lapping 676 thousands quicker than the PRO Class leader Jeroen Mul (Automobili Lamborghini Racing Team Germany) who will also thus start from the first row. Third best is for the other Bonaldi Motorsport pair made up by Milos Pavlovic and Edoardo Piscopo still determined to close the 5 points PRO Class Championship gap from Mul.

Good driving also for Giovanni Venturini fourth on the GRT Grasser Racing Team, chased by his team-mates Danial Higmar-Fairuz Fauzy and by the 2014 PRO-AM Champion Alberto Di Folco (Autocarrozzeria Imperiale).

Simone Pellegrinelli (DTMotorsport) proved once more the best in the AM Class preceding the Welsh Jake Rattenbury (Automobili Lamborghini Racing Team UK) and the Italian Roberto Tanca (Autocarrozzeria Imperiale).

Both 50' races are set to run tomorrow with Race One at 10:50 and Race Two at 16.00 (all times GMT + 8). Both races will be live streamed on the Lamborghini Squadra Corse website: http://squadracorse.lamborghini.com/en/live.
