MOVE 2020 − full recap, view highlights

  • MOVE 2020, one of the world’s most important mobility events, took place 11-12 February at London ExCel.

Almost 800 guest speakers and industry influencers plus a network of 5,000 visitors from across the world descended on the London ExCel for MOVE 2020.

DMA Media's Auto Futures brand were official media partners at the event, giving on-site production, livestreaming and interviews with Lilium, IKEA, Magna, Velocopter IV and many more leading global companies.

Editor of Auto Futures Alex interviewed influential industry, including CEO of Women In Transport Sonya Byers. The company supports the development of women working in the transport industry. Since being formed in 2005, the group has grown to over 500 members, who are sparking discussion about inclusion and diversity within the workplace.

Alex also spoke with Oxbotica Founder & CTO Paul Newman, a company looking for create an "autonomy ecosystem" for self-driving vehicles. Paul has been developing autonomous technology since the company’s inception in 2014 – and his ambitious vision for intelligent mobility stems all the way back to the mid 90's.

The event covered every mobility trend imaginable, from sustainability and autonomous driving to alternative fuels. Companies both old and new showcased their latest innovations, bringing showstopping ideas and insights on the future of mobility.

To top off the occassion, Alex spoke with Conference Director, Cormac Cronin Martis about the success of this year's event.
