08 April 2024 - As part of the IOC’s assessment of the French Alps project to host the Olympic Winter Games 2030, the Future Host Commission for the Olympic Winter Games will visit the region from 22 to 26 April.
The objective of this visit is to provide a deep dive into the proposal and the local context, with a view to election by the IOC Session in July.
This roundtable will provide the opportunity for media representatives to hear about the objectives and scope of the Future Host Commission’s visit. Media will also have the opportunity to ask questions of the two IOC directors responsible for supporting the Future Host Commissions in exploring, monitoring and encouraging interest in hosting the Olympic Games.
