Three region-specific designs celebrate 30 years of gaming and ‘90s culture, launching Fall 2025

(BOSTON) September 29, 2025 – Today, Reebok, the iconic sports culture brand, and Sony Interactive Entertainment, the company behind PlayStation, have teamed up to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the original PlayStation console. The Reebok x PlayStation collection features three (3), co-branded sneakers, the InstaPump Fury 94, Pump Omni Zone II and the Workout Plus – each connected to one of PlayStation’s original launch regions: Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Launching in October, these sneakers honor both brands’ legacies through thoughtful design and nostalgic details.

Each sneaker in the collection draws inspiration from the original PlayStation console’s distinctive style and era-defining moments in gaming, with Reebok silhouettes selected to match their original launch year and popularity at the time. All pairs come in unique, limited-edition packaging mirroring the console’s original launch design, featuring a shared anniversary gray color palette and key console design details - like the original PlayStation cord-inspired look, vintage PlayStation logos, and button-shaped charms - all honoring PlayStation’s legacy while celebrating Reebok’s ’90s influence and style. Each regional sneaker is released through select retailers in the U.S., Japan, and U.K.

The Reebok x PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection:

  • InstaPump Fury 94 – Japan (¥37,000 JPY)
    Features sock liners in anniversary gray. The pump ball boasts a “Press Play” feature, while the tongue label resembles a PlayStation memory card. Hidden text inside the label features the original launch date “1994年12月3日” (12/3/1994). Includes a hangtag with dual PlayStation 30th and Reebok Pump branding.
  • Pump Omni Zone II – U.S. ($220.00 MSRP)
    Features sock liners in anniversary gray, two lace options with metal tips, and a removable lacelock cable attachment. The custom pump ball is styled in PlayStation’s signature colors, and the tongue label features a hidden memory card graphic. Hidden text inside the label features the original launch date “9/9/1995”. Plastic lace dubraes mimicking console buttons complete the look.
  • Workout Plus – U.K. (£150.00 GBP)
    Features sock liners in anniversary gray, two lace options with metal tips, a removable lacelock cable attachment, and an internal arch band for enhanced fit. Hidden text inside the label features the original launch date “9/29/1995.” Plastic lace dubraes are styled after PlayStation’s classic circle, triangle, and square buttons, alongside Reebok’s vector logo.

We’ve brought those memories to life in every stitch, lace, and pump.”

The Reebok x PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will be available mid-October at select retailers in the U.S., Japan, and U.K. Quantities are extremely limited.
