The British Photographic Assignment 2020: COVID−19, Entry "Key Workers"

Release Date: 06 Jul 2020

Entry by Photographer George Coppock

Key Workers.

Not all heroes wear capes!

This project is focusing on front line Key Workers in my local village who in this world wide pandemic are continuing to work/volunteer to keep us safe & healthy from the covid19 Virus.

These images reflect the work of not just the amazing medical staff from the NHS, but the normally unsung heros of our communities, postal workers, teachers, farmers, super market workers, police officers & community volunteers.

The people in this series are all from my local village as due to lockdown travel is restricted. However all across the country if not the world we all have this heros within our communities.

So from all of us, Thankyou for everything you do!

A huge personal thankyou to my daughter Bella who stepped up to become a superstar assistant & to Lara Ostertag for help with the grading.

Disclaimer all shots were taken outside & abided by the goverment guidance of social distancing.

The new British Photographic Assignments, open to all British-based photographers and those of British nationality the world over is continuing to accept images until 1st of January 2021.
