LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas will celebrate "El Grito” and Hispanic Heritage Month throughout September with a multitude of cultural events, celebrations and special culinary experiences. Programming across the destination will highlight the traditions, achievements and lasting influence of Hispanic communities, further reinforcing Las Vegas’ reputation as a premier destination for Mexican Independence Day celebrations.
Displays and Special Events
Fontainebleau Las Vegas has announced a first-of-its-kind, resort-wide partnership with, ‘Carín León Takes Over Fontainebleau,’ running through Sept. 14. The takeover will include curated photo moments throughout the resort and a pop-up partnership with León’s restaurant El Coyote del Norte. LIV Nightclub will host ‘Noshes by Carín León,’ Mexican-themed nights and LIV Beach Club will hold a special “La Cura Fest” on Sunday, Sept. 13, with León’s specially curated lineup.
Cabo Wabo Cantina at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will host a multi-day party with specialty cocktails, cervezas and live DJs beginning Friday, Sept. 11 and continuing through the holiday.
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace will feature more than 20 retailers and restaurants celebrating the holiday, as well as mariachi performances at Fountain of the Gods Friday, Sept. 11 to Sunday, Sept. 13 and mariachi and folkloric dances on Friday, Sept. 18.
Fashion Show Las Vegas will host vibrant cultural performances, traditional folklórico dance performances, and an interactive El Grito contest on Saturday, Sept. 12 in the Great Hall. Live entertainment will include the Las Vegas High School Mariachi Joya and the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts Mariachi Band.
Colors of Mexico at Fashion Show Mall, a year-round exhibition, will celebrate the holiday with special extended hours for guests age 21 and older from 8 p.m. to midnight from Saturday, Sept. 12 to Wednesday, Sept. 16. Every ticket includes a $15 credit to use toward food, refreshing drinks, or stunning Mexican art.
Grand Canal Shoppes inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas will immerse guests in the culture and heritage of México through exclusive gifts with purchases Friday, Sept. 11 to Wednesday, Sept. 16, lively mariachi performances Saturday, Sept. 12 to Wednesday, Sept. 16, an enchanting Papel Picado installation available for photo moments throughout the month of Sept, and a one-of-a-kind El Grito celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Las Vegas North Premium Outlets invites guests to celebrate on Saturday, Sept. 12, with a free photo opportunity, vibrant performances by ballet folklórico dancers and a live mariachi band.
Amaya Modern Mexican Restaurant at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will feature specialty cocktails, a featured chile en nogada dish and live entertainment on Wednesday, Sept. 16. In addition to special themed cocktails and the featured menu item, spirited dancers, fire performers, a live saxophonist and DJ will perform.
El Cortez will celebrate on Wednesday, Sept. 16 with a special performance beginning at Showbar by Mariachi Nuestras Raices.

Zaytinya inside The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace is celebrating with a Mediterranean twist on a classic cocktail. During happy hour, guests can sip the Za'atar Margarita.
F1 Arcade Las Vegas inside The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace will celebrate by offering a special Mexican wagyu smash burger.
China Poblano inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is celebrating with a limited-time agave-focused beverage menu, available Thursday, Sept. 10 to Sunday, Sept. 20. The lineup features two specialty cocktails and an agave flight inspired by influential figures in Mexican history.
Mijo Modern Mexican, the modern coastal Mexican restaurant at Durango Casino Resort, will mark the holiday with a vibrant evening of elevated craft cocktails, fire dancers, a live DJ and bold flavors.
Guests at Grand Prix Plaza’s F1 HUB Lounge can order the "El Grito Roja" to celebrate the holiday, a special tequila-based cocktail available from Friday, Sept. 11 to Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The Cabinet of Curiosities inside Horseshoe Las Vegas will offer a mixology masterclass in its classroom at both 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Led by acclaimed mixologist Alex Velez, as seen on Netflix's Drink Masters, the class "Art of Agave" will be taught completely in Spanish.

Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum will display work from local artists during its annual Hispanic Heritage Month community exhibition, on display throughout the month of September. This year’s exhibition will celebrate the rich biodiversity, wildlife, and ecosystems that shape cultures and inspire traditions and ways of life across Latin America.
