Visit Las Vegas, the official training wear partner of AFC Bournemouth, announces the release of a highly exclusive glow-in-the-dark kit, to be released on January 12. With the UK experiencing the annual January blues, the Las Vegas x AFC Bournemouth collaboration offers the ultimate antidote with a vibrant kit that channels the neon lights and unmistakable energy of one of the most iconic cities in the world.

The limited-edition kit goes live at 4:27 p.m. on January 12, timed to coincide with the sunset,  and will be available exclusively online at the AFC Bournemouth superstore. Only 50 shirts available worldwide.

Blending football, fashion and culture, the kit features the club’s signature cherries, a nod to Bournemouth's iconic “Cherries” nickname and Las Vegas' retro slot machine heritage. The blurred neon details with iridescent finishes evoke a bold Vegas aesthetic and the speed, motion and excitement of the game.

In an era where football and fashion are increasingly intertwined, Las Vegas partnered with ilovedust the industry-leading design studio behind World Cup collections for Nike, as well as creative for FC Barcelona, PSG, Liverpool FC and Manchester City FC. With fashion collaborations between the likes of Jordan x PSG, Y3 x Real Madrid and Juventus x Palace capturing global attention, limited edition designs have become genuine collectors' items, making this unique drop a must-have for AFC Bournemouth fans and rare kit enthusiasts worldwide.

“Vegas has always been where spectacle, creativity, and culture come together, and this kit takes that energy straight to football fans worldwide,” said Kate Wik, Chief Marketing Officer for Visit Las Vegas. “We’re focused on evolving how Las Vegas shows up globally, moving beyond traditional destination marketing to create moments that live in daily culture. By partnering in unexpected, design-driven ways, we keep Vegas top of mind, spark conversation, and bring our brand to life far beyond the Strip.”

Las Vegas has emerged as a premier global hub for major sporting events, fuelled by the addition of world-class stadiums and a growing lineup of professional teams that now call the city home. In 2024, the destination broadened its sports portfolio by forming an official partnership with AFC Bournemouth. The club is also owned by Vegas Golden Knights Owner and Chairman Bill Foley, creating an authentic alliance that extends well beyond a traditional sponsorship.

Jim Frevola, AFC Bournemouth’s President of Business Operations, also commented: “The glow-in-the-dark kit really is a celebration of two worlds fuelled by energy, passion, and unforgettable moments. The collaboration brings the brightness of Vegas to the heart of football, symbolising ambition, excitement, and the shared spirit of putting on a show. Together with Visit Las Vegas, we have created a kit that stands out under the lights and embodies the thrill of our journey, on the pitch and beyond.”

In addition, on January 7, the AFC Bournemouth stadium will shine bright as the team take on Tottenham Hotspur F.C. in a nighttime game. As the players prepare for the pregame walkout, the team will don the Las Vegas inspired glow-in-the-dark pullover jackets in the tunnel and will be worn briefly on the pitch.
